In amongst a box of patterns I procured the other day was an envelope containing various greeting cards from about 1957. They are each quirky and delicate in their artwork. Each has a little something special about them.
Yesterday I found this little treasure. It looks like it is a 1950's maternity coat/blouse. The material is still a crisp cotton. It is not handmade as it has a tag stil on the neck ALL COTTON SSW and a worn out tag on the side. This thrills me no end.
This morning I made these head garlands from some flowers I found the other day. I am going to see if they go down (or out) at the markets in September.
